What we write
What sets the work apart
Clinically literate, methodically transparent
Scientific writing fails in two opposite ways. It can be technically clean but clinically naive, missing the nuance a reviewer notices instantly; or it can be clinically sound but poorly structured, burying a good result under unclear reporting. Our advantage is that the people doing the writing understand the medicine, so the argument is faithful to the science and the method is described in the way reviewers expect to see it. We treat the reporting standards relevant to your study type not as bureaucracy but as the shared grammar that lets reviewers trust your work, and we make the method explicit so a reader can judge it rather than guess at it.
Transparency runs through how we operate as well as what we produce. Scope, revision policy and turnaround are agreed before we begin, so the cost and the boundaries are known. We are honest about what improves with editing and what cannot — no one can promise acceptance — and we focus our effort on the things that genuinely move a manuscript towards publication: a clear structure, a defensible method, accurate reporting and a thorough, courteous response to reviewers.
How a project runs
From question to submission
- Scope the work. We agree the question, the right depth of review, the deliverable and a fixed fee within a rapid, standard or premium tier.
- Method first. For reviews we define the search strategy and inclusion logic; for manuscripts we map structure against the relevant reporting standard. See Literature & Rapid Reviews.
- Draft & refine. We write or edit through agreed revision rounds, keeping clarity, accuracy and reporting rigour in step — see Manuscript Editing & Publication.
- Prepare to submit. We support journal selection, formatting and the response to reviewers, then resubmission where needed.
- Communicate the result. We turn the work into presentations, posters and decks for conferences and stakeholders.
Writing is often the final stage of a longer evidence story. Reviews and manuscripts frequently draw on outcomes from Healthcare Data & Analytics, support the case made through Innovation, Pilots & Market Access, or benefit from accurate figures produced by our scientific illustration team. Where a specialist author or reviewer is needed, we can source one through the Expert Network.
Answers
Frequently asked questions
How do you price writing work?
Most projects are fixed-fee within rapid, standard or premium tiers, with scope, revision policy and turnaround agreed up front so there are no surprises.
Do you guarantee publication?
No one can guarantee acceptance, but we improve journal-readiness substantially — structure, clarity, reporting standards and response to reviewers — and support resubmission.
Can you run a systematic review?
We offer scoped reviews from rapid to PRISMA-lite, with a clear method, search strategy and evidence summary. We scope the right depth for your question and timeline.
How do you handle authorship and integrity?
We work within recognised authorship and acknowledgement conventions and are transparent about our contribution. Editing and writing support are disclosed as appropriate; substantive intellectual ownership of the work remains with the named authors.
Do you write for non-academic audiences too?
Yes. The same evidence often needs a peer-reviewed paper, a conference poster and a plain-language summary. We can produce each from one body of work, keeping the science consistent across formats.
